Welcome to DYSO

The Dublin Youth String Orchestra (DYSO) is an audition-based youth orchestra program for Dublin students entering grades 5 - 9.  Once selected, members continue to participate in their school orchestra during the school day and meet weekly after school to collaborate with other outstanding orchestra students from across the district.

25-26 Season!

We are excited to announce that DYSO has been selected to perform at the 2026 Ohio Music Educator's Association (OMEA) Professional Development Conference.  This is a great honor - orchestras from all over the state audition each year.  We look forward to preparing an unforgettable program for this concert in January.  More details will be coming soon!

Auditions

Information regarding auditions for the 26-27 season will be available on this webpage beginning in March.  Auditions usually take place each year in May.

​*Returning members do not need to re-audition!

Rehearsal Assistants

Students entering grades 10 - 12 may interview to become a rehearsal assistant.  Rehearsal Assistants have teaching, performance, and administrative responsibilities as designated by the DYSO directors.  Interviews for the next season take place each year in May.
