DYSO Gold to perform in Cincinnati on Friday, January 29th
DYSO Gold is one of four orchestras from across the state, to perform at the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) Conference in Cincinnati. This is a great honor for both DYSO and the entire Dublin community!
Parents, please download the Intro Cover Letter, EMA Form, & Permission Slip. All forms and payment must be turned in no later than December 3rd. Students & Parents should also complete a Pre-Arranged Absence form. This form is attainable from your school's office.

Details
Concert: Friday, January 29th at 1:15pm in the Cincinnati Convention Center in room CC206/07/08
Cost: $80 checks payable to "Karrer Middle School". This covers: dinner, transportation, museum & aquarium tickets, & admission to OMEA All-State Concert.
Forms: EMA & Permission Slip (download & turn in to Mr. Hawley), Pre-Arranged Absence form (obtain from school & submit to school)
Financial Assistance: Scholarship money is available for those in need. Please CONTACT the directors if this is the case for your family.
Trip Itinerary:
- 9:00am: Students arrive at Karrer Middle School.
- 9:30am: Leave Karrer Middle School. (Eat sack lunch on bus)
- 12:15pm: Warmup at the Cincinnati Convention Center
- 1:15pm: Concert performance
- 3:00 - 4:30pm: Cininnati Museum Center including Natural History & Science, and The Art of the Brick (Lego exhibit)
- 5:00-6:00pm: Tour of Newport Aquarium
- 6:30-7:30pm: Dinner at Buca Di Beppo
- 8:15pm: Attend the OMEA All-State Orchestra concert in the Cincinnati Convention Center
- 11:30pm: Arrive back at Karrer Middle School
Chaperones: Parents are welcome to accompany us on this trip. There is limited seating on the bus. Please CONTACT the directors if you are interested.

No, any parent may drive down separately to watch the 1:15pm concert in the Cincinnati Convention Center. Audience admission is free.
